A report released by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis noted record levels of investment in India’s renewable energy sector, with a total of US$14.5 billion (S$20.6 billion) invested in FY2021-2022. These figures reflect a 125 per cent growth compared to FY2020-2021 and are 72 per cent higher than the pre-pandemic levels of FY2019-2020.
